My name is Jen Pohl, and my husband, Travis, and I have been married for 22 years. We’ve been blessed with two children – Mac and Maisey. I have a non-traditional path to a classical classroom (the Lord worked it altogether for his calling and good) as I was an archaeology major in college and then spent over twenty years in various educational sectors. The Lord brought us to classical education nearly a decade ago with our children, and I’ve recently taught 4th grade in a Christian Classical school in Madison. Teaching and learning bring me great joy, and I’m privileged that the Lord has provided this opportunity for me at Armis Dei. I’m eager to partner with staff and parents to grow each student’s desire to delight in the world the Lord has given to us and to know His work in all things. In my free time I like to explore with my family (we’ve not met a road-trip we didn’t like), hike, paddle, read, and collect books.
