My name is Kim Smith. I have been married to my husband Forrest since
2017 and have three children together. We moved to Eagle River, WI
from the Milwaukee area in the spring of 2020. Prior to the move I was
a kindergarten teacher for eight years in Milwaukee. I received an
education degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and a
graduate degree in Early Childhood literacy from Alverno College in
2019. I have always had a passion and calling for teaching and enjoyed
my years in the classroom. After moving to Eagle River we decided we
would homeschool our children. Then, after learning more about
Classical Christian education, we were happy to find Armis Dei here in
the Northwoods. As a member of the board, I hope to support Armis
Dei’s mission and continue in God’s work. In my free time I enjoy
attending church at Pine Grove, baking sourdough goodies, and spending
family time together.
